A show we'd like to forget
Even though we lucked our way into the Til finals, we were confident that we would play a solid show. But things didn't go as planned. First of all, there was no sound engineer available. (He walked in when we were playing our last song!!!) We had about ten minutes to build up our stuff and make our sound right, which was obviously way too short. After that, Jans cable was kicked out by Bert, which caused him to miss almost two songs.
We knew this wasn't going to be OK from the moment we started playing and we knew that we were going to place third in the finals, and so we did. On the bright side, we won a small trophy for our third place and 25 euros which we can spend in a music store in Haarlem, but we're not very proud at it, as you might understand.
We'd like to forget this show and move on to our next one. Thursday 25 february, we'll play at Café Lokaal in our hometown Heemskerk. We promise a much better show that evening. Entrance is free, so be sure to come check us out!
We're going to the Til finals anyway!
This afternoon I got a mail from the organizor of the Til Trofee, that one of the bands could not make it to the finals, this friday; we can come play in stead of them.
That makes us the underdog for the battle as all odds are against us, but a small chance is better than no chance at all. We're just going to rock the place again, and try a little harder than last time! We'll see you next friday!

Unfortunately we didn't win last friday, as Glorybox was chosen as the winner. The jury still acclaimed us for our energetic performance, but the polished sound of Glorybox gave them their victory. We still had a blast! A lot of friends showed up and our first gig with Evelien was officially a success!

Til Trophy gig cancelled, moved to 22 january
Due to the bad weather, the organisation of the Til Trophy decided to cancel the gig tomorrow! The preround will be move to 22 january, but we are not sure if we are able to make it. More info will follow this week, so bear with us.

Two more gigs: Lokaal and Asgard
The first two shows in our hometowns are immediately in our favorite pubs! The first one is in café Lokaal in Heemskerk on thursday 25 february.
The second one is in rock café Asgard on friday 9 april. Electronic rock/metal band The Loss from Alkmaar will be joining us on this one, so that promises an evening full of headbanging!
UPDATE: The gig in café Lokaal will also be together with The Loss!
